Tomo Adachi is an Ottawa-based actor, singer and musical theatre performer. He ventured into musical theatre with the Lost Baggage Musical Theatre’s Valentine’s Day Cabaret, Andrew Lloyd Weber Cabaret, and Putting on the Rizz!. His other musical theatre credits include Mr. Grey in Rent and Governor in Oliver! (Suzart Productions). His acting credits include Michal in The Pillowman and David in On the Verge of Whiteness (Marginally Fit Productions), and Preparer 2 in Pachinko (Apple TV). He regularly sings in community choirs which focus on classical music repertoires. He greatly appreciates the LBMT for the opportunity to expand his artistic horizon!

Maeve Devries (she/they) is an Ottawa-born singer, songwriter and performer. Growing up, she was always involved in voice lessons, musical performances, and theatre. Maeve studied Media Production with a minor in Music and Culture at Toronto Metropolitan University. Throughout her degree, she was a member of RESONATE, one of the school’s competitive a cappella teams. She was Executive Director from 2020-2022, leading the team to first place in quarterfinals at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella two years in a row. Maeve is also an independent music artist and you can find her on streaming services as Maeve Delia. She is excited to be performing with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre for the first time!

He is an Algonquin alumnus, graduate of the Algonquin Performing Arts program, choir boy, dancer, actor, voice actor, and the list go on… He enters the entertainment industry in this musical production, but that isn’t the only thing that interested him so much more to come this is only the begin of his journey. The world is full of opportunities, and he is itching to find them and learn as much as he can from all the experiences coming his way. With God by his side, success follows!

Maeve Devries (she/they) is an Ottawa-born singer, songwriter and performer who has been involved in music and theatre throughout her life. She studied Media Production with a minor in Music and Culture at Toronto Metropolitan University. Gillian Doiron

Gillian started her acting career in Cobourg with the Victorian Operetta Society and Northumberland Players. After a brief break from the stage she returned in Peterborough with St.James Players, Showplace Players and the Peterborough Theatre Guild. She is has continued her theatre experience in Ottawa with Orpheus, ASNY and Lost Baggage. Some of her favourite roles include Sophie “Mamma Mia”, Mary Poppins “Mary Poppins”, Rumpleteaser “Cats”, Johanna “Sweeney Todd” and Roxie “Chicago”. Gillian thanks her husband, family and friends for their continued support and encouragement.

Sabine is a University of Ottawa student and actor excited to get back into musical theatre! Having enjoyed theatre since a young age (thank you Cats the Musical on VHS), some of their previous experience with companies such as Streetlight Theatre, Odyssey Theatre, and the uOttawa Theatre club includes Mamma Mia (Rosie), The Great Gatsby (Daisy u/s), Heathers (Lighting design), Little Women (Beth u/s), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Lysander u/s). This is the third time they have played a character with an unreasonable hate for children after Anne of Green Gables the Musical (Mrs. Pye) and Into the Woods (Evil Stepmother)! Outside of theatre, Sabine studies psychology and linguistics and works in a child development lab experimenting on children’s brains – a real potential villain profession! Sabine is pumped to be working with such an incredible cast and crew and to be in a Lost Baggage production for the first time.

Lesley has been participating in community theatre in Ottawa for over ten years. She has a special love for musical theatre. In addition to performing, she has been involved offstage in positions such as property management and assistant stage management. As a long time fan of Lost Baggage Musical Theatre she is excited to be part of the Quarentunes Cabaret. Other musical theatre experience includes Reverend Hobson in Memphis with Orpheus, Sebastian in Disney’s Little Mermaid with ASNY, and various shows with Suzart Productions. Non musical theatre experience include Mrs. Muller in Doubt: A Parable with Kanata Theatre and Woman of the quarter in Streetcar Named Desire with Ottawa Little Theatre. She is grateful for the continued support from friends and family.

Muahahahaha! “Be Prepared” to be enthralled by Naomi’s enrapturing melodies and devilish charm. Her previous experience with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre, Totally Legit Productions, Pirate Life Ottawa, Toto Too Theatre, and 9th Hour Theatre Company has prepared her to bring “Hellfire” to the stage alongside her “Friends On the Other Side”. During the day, Naomi uses her “Brains” as a robotics specialist. “In the Dark of the Night”, she lends her voice to various podcast characters. She hopes you “Poor Unfortunate Souls” enjoy the show and feel the “Evil Tonight”…

Jay Landreville

This is Jay’s fourth show with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre but he has been involved in the Ottawa theatre community for a number of years. It has been a pleasure to work with his team as a performance coach in this production, and to have the chance to join them on stage as well. Jay has also previously performed with Suzart Productions, Orpheus Musical Theatre, and ASNY Productions. Previous credits include The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff), Fiddler on the Roof (Motel), Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter), and Sweeney Todd (Tobias Ragg). Jay has had the opportunity to try his hand at directing before (Alice in Wonderland Jr., Aladdin Jr.), and most recently assistant directing LBMT’s production of Guys and Dolls. Outside of theatre, Jay enjoys his role as a teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, this year teaching grade 4 and 5.

Jillian is a Ottawa based actor and has a very big heart for performance. She is someone who always tries to put her best foot forward into every performance. Jillian is currently in eleventh grade of highschool with her acting credits consisting of high school productions; Elsa in Where Poppies Blow and 2 original characters for student written plays. She has also participated in Regional and National Star Festival for theater and received advanced and proficient placement ribbons. This is Jillian’s first breakthrough into the community theater world and she is ecstatic she is on this journey with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre. It has been a blessing to work alongside this amazing cast and she is so grateful for the support over these past few months. She is very excited to show you her evil side and she hopes everyone enjoys the show!

McKenna Mellon

McKenna has a very strong passion for performing ever since the age of 8. Since then she has worked with the NAC English Theatre, Orpheus, Greely Players, Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet, Kanata Theatre, Confidential Musical Theatre, and now Lost Baggage Musical Theatre. McKenna just completed a Bachelor in Music with honours in Voice Performance at Western University and is now currently studying with Jennifer Fontaine as her vocal coach. McKenna also has an extensive background in dance in many styles such as tap, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and ballet from Pique Dance Studio and is currently dancing with Top Rock Adult Performance Troupe. She would like to thank everyone who has helped her throughout the years to get to where she is today! Enjoy the show and don’t forget, we’re all mad here!

Isaac is thrilled to be performing with such a talented cast! As a 20 year old mechanical engineering student at the University of Ottawa, Isaac has always had a passion for musical theatre and performance, with recent roles including Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ram Sweeney in Heathers the Musical, both with the University of Ottawa Theatre Club, as well as numerous other roles in shows with his home town theater, Theatre Sarnia. He is excited to be singing one of his favorite villain songs ever, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Going into her fifth and final year at uOttawa in a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Jordan takes to the stage once more in another Lost Baggage Cabaret! She is so excited to play a villainous role (she doesn’t get to do it often so colour her COMPLETELY stoked)! When not onstage, Jordan finds herself reading, writing and actually breathing the acting world. She’s even dipped her toes into film! Catch her at the next Kino 😉

An Ottawa-born actor and student at the University of Ottawa in political science and law, Renée has always felt most at home on the stage! She started performing at the age of 6, attending dance lessons at La Maison des Arts before joining both their competitive dance team and competitive singing team, in which she stayed for 8 consecutive years. She started delving into musical theater a few years later and has now found a love for the theater! Previous credits include Elvira in Don Juan (ESCE), Rhéauna Bibeau in Belles-Soeurs (ESCE), Mrs Hannigan in Annie (DLRC), Ursula in The Little Mermaid (MDA) and Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical (MDA). Renée is thrilled to perform for the first time in a community theater setting and would like to thank LBMT for allowing her this opportunity. Have a great show!

Thea is currently a student at the University of Ottawa working towards her BCs with a major in Computer Science. She has been working in theater since 2018, and most recently has worked with the uOttawa Theater Club, starring in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bottom), Little Women (John Brooke/Mr. March), and was featured in the UOTC’s Broadway Concert. Thea also is a part of the Ottawa improv scene, running the uOttawa Improv Club and has been featured in various other improv companies shows around Ottawa. In her free time she makes short films, plays piano, and presuses web development. This is Thea’s first show with LBMT, she appreciates the opportunity and is looking forward to bringing her characters to life!

Melodi is proud to be a part of her 4th cabaret with Lost Baggage! Melodi feels she was destined for the stage from the time she was born, and has performed in community theatre since the age of 13. Recently, Melodi played the White Witch in 9th Hour Theatre Company’s production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. She is also looking forward to playing Grandma Addams in Lost Baggage’s upcoming production of The Addams Family! For now however, Melodi looks forward to portraying a certain Disney villain whose favourite colours are black and white, and who has a particular obsession with a certain breed of dog. She’s said too much already…
