Lost Baggage Musical Theatre
At LBMT, we believe that the theatre is for everyone. Our mandate is to diversify musical theatre performance in Ottawa and bring more musical theatre to the city’s east-end. We strive to create rehearsal and performance spaces that allow for individuals to freely create and participate in without fear of scrutiny or harassment.
When you come to a Lost Baggage production, expect to leave the burdens of everyday life at the door and escape for a while. Lose your baggage at Lost Baggage.

A Cabaret of Unexpected Surprises
LBMT is excited to partner with Music in Greenboro to present a collection of musical theatre numbers with twisted endings. Think of songs like “Nothing” from A Chorus Line, “Me and the Sky” from Come From Away, and “Stars and the Moon” from Songs for a New World.
Additionally, the show’s finale will be a ten minute musical entitled, Finding the Words – it’s the final rehearsal at a small regional theater, and the lead actor STILL can’t remember his lines. Only the director’s klutzy assistant can help save the show… Book and Lyrics by Andy Roninson and Chris Critelli, with Music by Andy Roninson
We will be looking for 6 performers to cast in this show. Each performer will have one solo song and participate in two ensemble numbers and in Finding the Words. Auditions will be held from January 28-30. The show will run for approximately sixty minutes for two matinée performances at two locations in South Keys and Orleans in March.
Saturday, March 25 | Gloucester Presbyterian Church (91 Pike Street)
Sunday, March 26 | Queenswood United Church (360 Kennedy Lane East)
Matinée Shows at 2:00pm | Doors Open at 1:30

PUTTING IT TOGETHER
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Devised by Stephen Sondheim and Julia McKenzie | Orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick
Putting It Together is a musical revue showcasing the songs of Stephen Sondheim (Sweeney Todd, Follies, A Funny Thing Happened…). Drawing its title from a song in Sunday in the Park with George, it celebrates Sondheim’s incomparable career in musical theatre.
Featuring nearly thirty Sondheim tunes, Putting It Together is performed by only five people who are thrown together at a party in a Manhattan penthouse. With a bit of imagination, the guests transform the apartment into the stage of an abandoned theatre, an estate in Sweden, an island outside of Paris, a street off the Roman Forum, the woods of a fairy tale and a mythical town in the Southwest.
