Ace Corbin (he/they) is super excited to be a part of this production. He has always had a passion for musical theatre, and is ecstatic to show everyone what they have been working on. As a part of the Canterbury High School Dramatic Arts Program, he has always valued teamwork and dedication to the arts, and watching it all come together through this has been super exciting. He was seen in last year’s A Quarantunes Cabaret: Pride Edition, making this his second show with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre. Go Mighty Maestros!!!!

Maeve Devries

Maeve Devries (she/they) is an Ottawa-born singer, songwriter and performer. Growing up, she was always involved in voice lessons, musical performances, and theatre. Maeve studied Media Production with a minor in Music and Culture at Toronto Metropolitan University. Throughout her degree, she was a member of RESONATE, one of the school’s competitive a cappella teams. She was Executive Director from 2020-2022, leading the team to first place in quarterfinals at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella two years in a row. Maeve is also an independent music artist and you can find her on streaming services as Maeve Delia. She is excited to be performing with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre for the first time!

Ashley Elms

Ashley is a preschool teacher by day and performer by night! This is Ashley’s third show with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre including the A Quarantunes Cabaret: Pride Edition and Forbidden Love. She has 15 years of musical theatre experience in both Cornwall and the Ottawa area, most recently performing in Tarzan and the 10 Minute Plays Festival with Kanata Theatre. She hopes you have fun and enjoy the show!

Jason Fuerst

Hailing from the United States, Jason is currently on a study permit attending Carleton University as an MA in Music and Culture candidate. Previous accompanying work includes West Side Story, Rent, Songs for a New World, Avenue Q, Little Women, and The Wedding Singer. This is his second show with LBMT after having accompanied their Forbidden Love cabaret production. You can catch him later this fall as accompanist and apprentice music director for Rent with Suzart Productions. Jason’s primary instrument is percussion, which he performed with many American orchestras. He is very excited to be in Canada and working with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre again.

Ulyn Georgette

Ulyn Georgette was born in Trinidad and has been living in Ottawa for most of her adult life. She credits her mother for her passion for music and at age 13, she was introduced to Classical, Jazz and Opera by her adopted-by-love grandmother “Bubbi” Sondra Davis. She has participated in various performances, festivals and recording projects with Opera Lyra, Gospel Ensemble Chosen, the Jazz band, Jazz and Velvet. She currently sings with the vocal ensemble Voices of Praise, No Borders Community Voices, and her own jazz ensemble Ulyn & Friends.
Ulyn has a strong love for her community. When not immersed in composing, singing and recording, you can find her planning and hosting events raising awareness about children’s mental health. This is her first performance with Lost Baggage. She loves every minute with her amazing team and awesome leaders Lili, Jason and Skye.

Naomi James

It’s a musical! The best thing to ever grace the silver screen! From the classic Wizard of Oz to the timeless Hamilton, there’s something for everyone. Naomi is ready to live out her Disney princess dreams of performing some of the most (and least) well known movie musical numbers out there. It’s sure to be a thrilling adventure and we’re so happy to have you along for the ride. The talent on this stage will knock your socks off! So strap in and enjoy the show!

Melina loves musical theater, singing, performing, and dancing. Melina had her professional theater debut in the Ottawa production of I Forgive You at the National Arts Center for an 8-show run in March 2023. She has also performed in Annie, Elf, The Wizard of Oz, The Lion King, and other musical theater productions. Melina has been dancing for a decade, appearing on stage at the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame and Disney Springs. She is currently a member of her school choir and the Ottawa Children’s Choir. This is Melina’s first experience with Lost Baggage and she is delighted to be part of such a supportive and talented group.

Jay Landreville

This is Jay’s debut show with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre but he has been involved in the Ottawa theatre community for a number of years. He is happy to be a part of this competition. Jay has previously performed with Suzart Productions, Orpheus Musical Theatre, and ASNY productions. Previous credits include The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff), Fiddler on the Roof (Motel), Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter), and Sweeney Todd (Tobias Ragg). Jay has also had the opportunity to try his hand at directing (Alice in Wonderland Jr., Aladdin Jr.), which he also thoroughly enjoyed, as he enjoys working with youth. For this competition, he has decided to go with a song that he has loved since the first time he heard it. He is excited to get to perform it. Outside of theatre, Jay enjoys his role as a teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board.

Skye MacDiarmid

Skye holds a BMus. in Vocal Performance with a focus on Musical Theatre, with a Specialized Study in Choral Conducting and Linguistics, and certifications in Voice from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto Canada. She has been teaching voice for 30 years from her home studio based in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Skye is also the Music Director for the Academy for Musical Theatre and teaches drama for St. Timothy’s Classical Academy. She is committed to community music values such as inclusivity, hospitality, respect, and generosity; creating safe spaces where artists can explore, express themselves and grow.
Winner of the 2022 Music International Competition in Adult Popular Voice in New York City, New York. Performance credits include Diana; Next to Normal; nominated for a Capital Critics Circle Award (2016). Awarded Vocalist of the Year (2020) Broadway World Regional Awards. Other performance credits include, Cinderella; Into the Woods, Shelby; Spitfire Grill, Mrs. Pott’s; Beauty and the Beast, Maggie, A Chorus Line. Music Director credits include, Into The Woods, The Last Five Years, Children’s Letters to God. Assistant MD/Vocal Coach, Dogfight, Legally Blonde, A Man of No Importance, Spring Awakening, Glorious, Goodbye Piccadilly.

Kate is thrilled to be joining this amazing cast in her first Lost Baggage Musical Theatre Quarantunes Cabaret! Some of her previous roles include “Gabrielle” in The Greely Player’s production of Cinderella (2023), “Peter Pan” in The Greely Player’s Shrek The Musical (2019), “Lost Boy” in The Greely Player’s Peter Pan (2015), as well as being in the ensemble in The Greely Player’s productions of The Wizard Of Oz (2013), Once Upon A Mattress (2014), Beauty And The Beast (2016), The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer (2017), The Little Mermaid (2018), & Anne and Gilbert (2020). She is so excited to perform a long time dream role, Tracy from Hairspray, for you tonight and hopes to dance her way into your hearts! Did you know that Michelle Pfeiffer’s first lead role was in the film Grease 2? Did you know there was a Grease 2?!? Get ready to be taken on a cool ride with Christina Roman in her Lost Baggage Musical Theatre debut singing a song from this cult classic! Christina’s previous theatre credits include “Mother” in the Ottawa Little Theatre’s production of A Christmas Story (2015), “Columbia” in Suzart’s production of The Rocky Horror Show (2018), “Velma Von Tussle” in Suzart’s Hairspray! (2022), and “Doris Walker” in the Ottawa Little Theatre’s Miracle on 34th Street (2022). Some of Christina’s favourite B-movie credits include Homicycle (2014), Gnomercy (2019) and Ouija Shark (2020). When not performing, Christina enjoys being with her family and talking about herself in the third person. “I said C-O-O-L R-I-D-E-R!!!”

She has thoroughly enjoyed watching her team blossom and become even more fabulous performers. She would like to thank Skye and Jason for being amazing collaborators on this project. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Nicole is an HR problem solver by day and musical theatre sensation by night! Who needs a vacation when you have musical theatre? She recently broke hearts in LBMT’s Valentines Day cabaret and is excited to be a part of another (HR approved) show. Get ready to laugh, sing, and awkwardly shuffle in your seat as the department you normally begrudge finally delivers a chuckle.

This show marks Madeline’s second performance with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre, and second theatre performance ever! While she has always been involved in the world of music growing up as a classical pianist, she never had the opportunity to perform in theatre, so now she is fulfilling her childhood dreams. Not only that, she is taking this opportunity to embody her all time favourite Disney character, and she hopes her performance will make you as happy as it makes her. She is so excited to be a part of another Lost Baggage show! None of you are ready for the amount of talent you will behold with this show.

This is May’s second LBMT production. You may also have seen her as part of the adult ensemble in Orpheus’s production of Newsies in November 2022. New to the musical theatre scene, May has enjoyed meeting new friends and basking in the warmth of community. Many thanks to EW for pointing her toward possible solo numbers, the result of which is tonight’s performance of “So Long, Dearie.” The character, Dolly Levi, has been portrayed by a gamut of actresses, resulting in a buffet of possible inspiration for May’s own rendition; she hopes you silly-smile through every bar!

Melodi Uygur (she/her) is extremely grateful and excited to be a part of her 5th production with Lost Baggage Musical Theater! She has a Bachelor of Psychology Degree with Honours, as well as a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Administration, from Carleton University. When Melodi is not acting, dancing, and singing her heart out on stage, she can be found reading comic books, drawing, playing with her cat, going on long walks, traveling, and watching movies! Euan has been around the block a few times with Lost Baggage and you may have seen him in many recent productions, such as Forbidden Love (2023), Music Of the Night (2022), Clue (2021), and A Little Lin Music (2019). He has also appeared in I’m Not That…Cabaret (TotoToo Theatre, 2022) and Avenue Q (TotoToo, 2019). On the production side, he served as apprentice director for Putting it Together (LBMT, 2023), and is slated to direct LBMT’s fifth anniversary cabaret Forgotten Treasures–coming to Arts Court on Nov 30 and Dec 1 of this year.

Maggie Wolfe is a recent graduate from Carleton University’s Music Program, where she received her Bachelor of Music, specializing in Musical Theatre Voice, with a minor in Psychology. This is her first time performing in a Lost Baggage Musical Theatre production and has enjoyed working with this great cast and crew! Some of her favourite past shows include Into The Woods (The Bakers Wife) with CMTS, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Linus), West Side Story (Maria), Oliver! (The Artful Dodger) and Catch me if You Can (Vocal Ensemble). Maggie has also had the pleasure of recently vocal directing CMTS’s production of Into The Woods and Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre’s production of Disney’s Descendants the Musical. She’s excited to bring A Piece of Sky to you and hopes you enjoy the show!
