General Information
Lost Baggage is looking for a talented cast of singers, actors, dancers, and everything in between for our upcoming production of One Small Misstep! The show is an original musical written by Ottawa’s own Sandy Gibson and Silas Chinsen. The show was a hit when it was part of the recent Undercurrents Festival in February. We are proud to partner with Sol One Arts to put on the official first full-length production of the musical!

The show is being directed by Paola Della Malva, choreographed by Alex Smith-Eivemark, musically directed by Tania Granata, and produced by Euan Wheaton. We will be casting at least 12 performers in the show. For more information on the show and the full production team, please visit our Season Seven webpage.

Show Synopsis
One Small Misstep is a brand-new original musical comedy that takes audiences on a wild ride from astronaut training camp to the far reaches of space – and beyond. Samantha Higgins has dreamed of walking on the moon her whole life, but the path to the stars isn’t all science and glory. Between bizarre training simulations, eccentric crew-mates, a snarky onboard computer, and a few larger-than-life game-world characters, the journey quickly becomes more misstep than moonwalk.
Full of sharp wit, clever satire, and over-the-top characters, One Small Misstep is both a space adventure and a tongue-in-cheek look at ambition, competition, and teamwork. With a mix of heartfelt moments and outrageous comedy, this premiere production invites performers to help bring a brand-new musical universe to life.
