
Troy Arsenian
Stage Manager
Troy Arsenian is a stage manager and director originally from Montreal, now living in Ottawa. He is an alumnus of the University of Ottawa’s Department of Theatre, where he received his Bachelor of Arts with a Specialization in Theatre in 2019. He began completing his equity apprenticeship shortly after graduation but was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He is also the current Interim Co-President for the Prix Rideau Awards upcoming season. Troy is very excited to be working with Lost Baggage once again, after Scream Queens, Something About New York, Something About New York (again), and Surely Schwartz. This year, Troy was honoured with two Prix Rideau Award nominations: Behind the Rideau Award (Stage Management, All Request Radio), and Emerging Artist (Stage Manager). He thanks his puppy, Benjamin Barker, for putting up with his long hours at the theatre.

Megan Bourque

Megan is returning for her second production with Lost Baggage Musical Theater. She previously performed in LMBT’s valentine cabaret Forbidden Love (2023) as well as diverse shows and plays, and is so excited to be part of her very first musical. Her newfound love for theater pushed her to pursue her studies in the subject, and she is looking forward to being part of such a creative, talented and beautiful community. Most importantly, she is ready to jazz!

Rorey Brown

Since the age of 12, Rorey has been on stage acting, singing, and dancing her heart out. This is her first production with Lost Baggage Musical Theater and she is so thrilled and grateful to be a part of this talented cast. She recently obtained her bachelor’s degree and currently works for the Government of Canada. Rorey cannot wait to give you some Razzle Dazzle and All That Jazz onstage with her castmates! She thanks the audience for supporting local theater and hopes you enjoy the show!
Rorey’s previous credits include Carleton Musical Theatre Societies production of Into the Woods 2023 (Florinda), Carleton Musical Theatre Societies production of Title of Show 2019 (Susan), as well as an abundance of high school and children’s theater productions.

This is Sam’s first production with Lost Baggage and she couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this iconic show (buckle up folks, because you’re about to be Razzled and Dazzled!). Sam has previously appeared on stage in the Greely Players productions of Roger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Ensemble), as well as Shrek the Musical (Fairytale Elf). When she’s not singing and dancing, she enjoys her work as a Video editor/graphic designer/motion designer. As well as reading, baking, traveling, sewing, creating CG art, and having adventures with her wonderful partner, Liam and her puppy, Benny. Sam would like to thank her amazingly talented cast and crew mates for being so kind and welcoming. As well as her family and friends for their continued love and support. Enjoy the show!

Jamie Dan
Choreographer
Jamie Dan (Choreographer) is a pediatric and neuro rehab physiotherapist by day, and artist/dancer/choreographer by night. On the production side, Jamie has choreographed for McMaster’s Showchoir Absolute Pitch (2016-2019) and now, the Chicago team welcomed her artistic vision with open arms. Her passion for storytelling through movement started through touring with Judy and David for 4 years, then becoming a Zumba and CanFitPro fitness instructor, teaching across Hamilton and the GTA. On the performance side, favourite credits include: Al (A Chorus Line), Fairy Godmother (Forest of Dreams with Shakespeare King’s Company), Cat in the Hat (Seussical!), Dance Captain (The Wedding Singer). Throughout the pandemic, Jamie has continued training with the Broadway Weekends online community and classes, lead by Jeanna deWaal and other Broadway/West End artists. Much love to Alex, Mum and Nikki for supporting her ambitious schedule, and many thanks to YOU for supporting the arts. Shimmy, shimmy, get-rea-dy! 5, 6, 7, 8!

Kiran deSouza

This is Kiran’s first production with Lost Baggage Musical Theater and she is thrilled! While quite new to the theater community, Kiran has adored singing and music for as long as she can remember while always having had music and movement in her life since a young age. She continued to cultivate her interest in singing and dancing, being trained in vocals, jazz dance and multiple genres of piano performance. Over the years, Kiran has been involved as a musician/pianist with and has performed singing whether solo, in instrumental groups and choral groups.
Kiran has been involved performing in shows such as “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (2018, CMTS) and “The Little Mermaid” (2020, ASNY), where she played in the orchestra, and is so excited to switch sides and be a cast member.
While at work, Kiran spends her days at work sharing her enthusiasm for music with her students! She has truly enjoyed working with the wonderful, talented cast of “Chicago” for her first musical performance on the stage, and wants to thank her family, friends, teachers and LBMT for their support in her endeavors! Enjoy the razzle dazzling performance!

Gillian Doiron

Gillian started her acting career in Cobourg with the Victorian Operetta Society and Northumberland Players. After a brief break from the stage she returned in Peterborough with St.James Players, Showplace Players and the Peterborough Theatre Guild. She has continued her theatre experience in Ottawa with Orpheus Musical Theatre, ASNY and now Lost Baggage. Some of her favourite roles include Sophie (Mamma Mia), Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Rumpleteaser (Cats) and Johanna (Sweeney Todd). Gillian is beyond thrilled to now add Roxie (Chicago) to that list! Gillian wants to thank her husband, family and friends for their continued support and encouragement.

Tania Gauder

This is Tania’s first production with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre. She has enjoyed broadening her circle of Ottawa theatre community and is grateful to be singing, dancing and acting alongside this wonderfully talented group. Trained in both music and dance, she has always been drawn to the Fosse style of Chicago and has learned to embrace her inner diva to bring a new persona to the stage. Previous shows include Cinderella (ensemble), Anne & Gilbert (ensemble), Shrek (Mama Bear) and The Little Mermaid (ensemble), all with the Greely Players. When she is not singing and dancing in musicals, the classroom is her stage: working with grades 4 and 5 students is her niche. She also enjoys biking, swimming, yoga, and spending as much time outside as possible. A special thanks goes out to her family and friends for their continued encouragement and support. Ashley Gillard

Ashley is beyond thrilled to be joining the cast of Chicago and to Razzle Dazzle on the stage with them all! She is so excited to play a murderess in her favourite musical! Originally from Pennsylvania, Ashley is an international artist who has performed on stages across Canada, USA and in New Zealand where she lived for almost 9 years. She was trained in classical ballet, jazz, contemporary dance and was a competitive gymnast growing up. She also twirled fire during the football half-time shows. Ashley is an actor, singer and dancer who recently was named Ottawa’s Best Choreographer of the Year 2023 for her work in Great Gatsby! It’s Murder! with Paper Picture Productions. Ashley also received NZ’s 2017 ACTT’s Best Female in a Minor Role award for her performance in Cinderella. When Ashley isn’t on stage, she is sharing her love of the performing arts with her kindergarten students.
Favourite roles include: Freeda Silver (Grey Ghost Prisoners of Souls & Masts); Lucinda (Into the Woods); Richelle (Scream Queens); Wicked; We Will Rock You; The Wild Party. Ashley seeks to build an emotional connection with audiences and to transport them into an exciting realm of storytelling. You can see her next with 9th Hour Theatre as Unicorn in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe!

Lindsay Gow-Kateb

Lindsay is so excited to be back onstage in LBMT’s production of Chicago! This is Lindsay’s first production with LBMT, and they could not be more grateful to be part of such a wonderfully talented, inclusive, and dynamic cast. Music and theatre are huge parts of Lindsay’s life and have been for as long as they can remember—you might have seen them onstage in ASNY’s productions of Jekyll and Hyde and The Little Mermaid, or Suzart’s Text Me. Outside of musical theatre, Lindsay is a percussionist with the Ottawa Pops Orchestra, performs on aerial silks, and surrounds themself with music as often as they can. They can’t wait to take to the stage as Go-to-Hell Kitty alongside all of these incredible performers! Thank you for supporting the arts and your local theatre, and enjoy this sizzling show full of glitz, glamour, murder, betrayal… and all that jazz.

Katya Harbauer

Katya Harbauer is making her Ottawa stage debut in the ensemble with LBMT! Originally from King City, Ontario, Katya has participated in a number of shows with Into the Breach Theatre Company including but not limited to; In The Heights, The Laramie Project and The 39 Steps but this will be her first production post-pandemic. She is currently studying Ethics and Political Philosophy at the University of Ottawa. While still new to the theatre scene and Ottawa she is beyond grateful for the experience of working with such talented individuals in putting on a great show! Special thanks to her friends and family for their unwavering love and support (even from across the province!)

Gillian Hosick

Gillian Hosick is thrilled and incredibly grateful to make her Ottawa stage debut with LBMT. Her passion for musical theater ignited in Brockville, Ontario, where she was an active member of the Brockville Operatic Society during her formative years. Her favourite roles include playing Sister Robert Anne (Nunsense), Joanne Jefferson (Rent), Vivian Kensington (Legally Blonde), Joy (Cinderella) and Queen Aggravain (Once Upon A Mattress). Gillian also directed Into the Woods at Theater Western. Beyond the stage, she runs summer art camps for children, is skilled in animation and graphic design, and crafts set and prop pieces for various theater groups. Throughout her artistic journey, she’s had unwavering support from her mom, dad, sister, husband and cat, proving that, just like Velma, she knows she “can’t do it alone”.

Andrea Kovago
Vocal Director
Dr. Andrea Kovago, lyric mezzo soprano, comes to us from Calgary Alberta, Canada. A sought after solo performer throughout the United States and Canada, she has performed steadily in the areas of opera, oratorio, chamber music, music theatre and numerous solo and collaborative recitals throughout her career. Alongside performing, Andrea is a distinguished and well respected voice and piano teacher, and has been coaching/teaching students of all ages and levels for more than 30 years. She continues to work with, mentor and coach many aspiring singers and pianists, several of which have won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards, along with prominent trophy and monetary prizes at the local and provincial levels, in both NATS and the Kiwanis Music Festival over the past several years. She remains incredibly active in the Ottawa community, where she currently serves as Festival Chair for the NATS-NCR Vocal Festival competition. Andrea also adjudicates many vocal competitions when called and is a prominent voice examiner and member of the Royal Conservatory of Music College of Examiners, Toronto. Recently, she music directed Cinderella (Greely Players, 2023) and will again work alongside this crew for their upcoming performance of Monty Python’s Spamelot, (March, 2024). Andrea is most pleased to be coaching the talented performers in LBMT’s production of Chicago!

Jay Landreville
Amos Hart
This is Jay’s second production with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre but he has been involved in the Ottawa musical theatre community for a number of years. Amos is a role that he has always wanted to play, and he is very thankful for the opportunity. The process of putting this show together has been a great learning experience. Jay has previously performed with Suzart Productions, Orpheus Musical Theatre, and ASNY Productions. Previous credits include The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff), Fiddler on the Roof (Motel), Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter), Sweeney Todd (Tobias Ragg), and Wizard of OZ (Tin Man). Jay has also had the opportunity to try his hand at directing (Alice in Wonderland Jr., Aladdin Jr.), which he also thoroughly enjoyed, as he enjoys working with youth. He hopes to make his way behind the table again sometime soon. Outside of theatre, Jay enjoys his role as a teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, this year teaching grade 5 and 6, and is an avid curler! He ‘hopes he didn’t take up too much of your time.’

Kristen Loreto

Kristen is thrilled to be taking the stage in Chicago with this incredible cast and crew! She is grateful to be making her Ottawa stage debut with LBMT after taking a brief performing hiatus to work production-side.
Trained in music and dance, Kristen spent the past 6 years working for Lock and Keynote Productions as both Music Director and Choreographer. She also choreographed and sat on the Executive Committee for the University of Ottawa Dance Club during her undergrad days. Favourite credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Annas) and Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble).
Currently, Kristen works as a French and Music teacher and spends most of her days singing and dancing with the kiddos. Kristen wants to thank Philippe, her family and friends for always supporting her crazy theater dreams and rehearsal schedule! Sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

This is Naomi’s debut with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre, and is excited to be a part of such an iconic show like Chicago. You may have seen her in past shows like Memphis (Orpheus Musical Theatre, 2023) and Hairspray (Suzart Productions, 2022)!
While still relatively new to the Ottawa musical theatre community, she is thankful to be able to share and expand her vocal, dance, and acting skills once again. A special thank you goes out to her friends and family who have supported her throughout this show.

Richard Moore

Richard Moore is finding it a genuine joy to work with the plethora of talented people creating Chicago. Growing up, he was always a child with a song in his heart, and dabbled in church choirs before he found his true calling on the stage. Previous credits include Suzart’s Oliver! (Mr Brownlow); LBMT’s Plot Twist! (Morty); Brightside Productions’ Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Black Wing) and Treasure Island (Chorus); and Georgetown Globe Productions’ War and Revolution (Ensemble), Man of La Mancha (Muleteer), and Guys and Dolls (Ensemble).
Thanks to everyone who helped him to get into theatre (and then to scrape off the rust after years away from it): his Mom, for coming out and seeing all his shows; Katrina, for dragging him onstage in the first place; Sam, for helping him develop his voice; Dani and Laura, for teaching him how to dance well enough such that some razzle-dazzle can mask his flaws; and Joy and Mathieu, for giving him the opportunity to get back in front of a crowd after his move to Ottawa and the pandemic. Denise Morrison is new to the LBMT scene, but she’s been very involved in the Ottawa Theatre community since her debut role in Lakeside Players’s “Hickory Dickory Dock” back in 2001. Since then, she has graced the stage from Toronto and back again in shows such as Mean Girls, Les Belles Soeurs, The Little Mermaid, Miracle on 34th Street, and most recently Jekyll & Hyde with ASNY Productions. Chicago has been a bucket-list performance for Denise ever since falling in love with the 2002 movie. Her dream of becoming a Merry Murderess has finally come to life on the Arts Court stage. The cast and crew have really made this an experience to cherish for a life-sentence lifetime.

Catherine O’Farrell is an aspiring artist, who’s been part of the musical theatre community since she was a small child. She is a classically trained dancer and singer, and has won 1st and 2nd place awards at Kiwanis festival and provincials.
She has worked in multiple productions, both on and backstage. Her credits include Rudolpho (Matilda AMT 2019), Twoey (Little shop of Horrors AMT 2020), and Galinda (Wicked AMT 2021). Currently, she is working as a freelance elementary school specialist, teaching dance, music, gymnastics, and acrobatic contortion at several elementary/middle schools throughout Ottawa.
This is Catherine’s first performance since the pandemic, and she is so excited to be back on stage with such an amazing group of performers in this iconic show, and she’s grateful for everyone’s support of the arts in Ottawa!

Dave Rama is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with an amazing and supportive cast and crew and with LBMT. Learning and playing Billy falls outside of the norm for Dave as he is usually found floundering around the stage in comedic or less vocal monster type roles! His recent credits include Russell Association for the Performing Arts (RAPA’s) Lend Me a Tenor (Saunders, Director), I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (ensemble), Young Frankenstein (Monster), Ella’s Lounge (Playright, Composer, Musical Director, Clarence) and Greely Player’s Shrek the Musical (Donkey of course). Dave is very grateful to his wife, Jen, who is so supportive of his endeavors in the arts and to everyone who takes the time to support the local community theatre. Who knew this fella could Fosse!?

Christina Roman

Christina Roman is grateful to be back onstage playing such an iconic character and working with such an amazing cast and production team. Some of her happiest theatre memories include playing “Mother” in the Ottawa Little Theatre’s production of A CHRISTMAS STORY in 2015, “Columbia” in Suzart’s production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW in 2018, “Velma Von Tussle” in Suzart’s 2022 production of HAIRSPRAY!, and Doris Walker in the Ottawa Little Theatre’s 2022 production of MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. Before finding a home in Ottawa’s theatre community, she was in some weird locally-made movies. Some of her favourite film credits include GNOMERCY, OUIJA SHARK, and HOMICYCLE. Christina would like to thank her family for once again supporting her crazy theatre habit. Remember, when you’re good to Mama, Mama’s good to you!

Nicole Rumble

Nicole Rumble is returning for her third show with LBMT. By day, she is an HR problem solver, and by night, she passionately embraces the world of musical theatre. Who needs a vacation when you have the magic of the stage? She looks forward to sharing the joy and excitement of live theatre with all of you (but most importantly with Michael, her favourite person and biggest supporter). Join Nicole and the incredible cast as they transport you to the captivating world of Chicago, where passion, crime, and glamour collide!

Victoria Saigle

Victoria Saigle is over-the-moon excited to return to the stage with such a fantastic cast and crew for one of her favourite musicals, Chicago. Although this is her first community theatre production, she is no stranger to performing! Victoria has been a singer her whole life.
Some of her performance highlights include: touring parts of Canada, the USA and South Africa; opening for Aloe Blacc in Montreal as a member of Effusion A Cappella; and singing professionally in Gregory Charles’ Collège Vocal choir as a back-up vocalist for Yes, Dumas, Martha Wainwright, Les Cowboys Fringants and other Canadian musicians. Prior musical theatre roles include The Wizard of Oz (Ensemble, Canterbury High School).

JoAnne Simon

JoAnne Simon is thrilled to be joining Lost Baggage Musical Theatre ensemble for the first time. JoAnne has been involved in the local live music scene for many years and is excited to now have the opportunity to be a part of local theatre. JoAnne has previously been with Greely Players Theatre and was cast a lead as the Evil Stepmother Madame in the March 2023 performance of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Outside of acting JoAnne is a visual artist and paints with acrylics. She is also a Real Estate agent,mother to four amazing sons, and avid dog lover. She enjoys meeting new people and spending time with family and friends. Ideally around a Bon fire with guitars. She is looking forward to all the adventures theatre has to offer. JoAnne would like to thank everyone for their encouragement and support. Finding a place in the theatre family at almost 52 years old has been incredibly exciting.

André Sponder

Andre Sponder is thrilled to be a member of the cast of Chicago! Andre has been dancing all her life and caught the musical theatre bug in kindergarten with the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) when she was cast in a starring role of a Poppy in WIZARD OF OZ. She went on to work as a professional actor/director for MCT touring the original musicals of ROBINSON CRUSOE (Friday) and RED RIDING HOOD (Big Bad Wolf) all over the USA and Canada for almost two years. Going to rehearsals gives Andre a much needed break from marking her high school students’ math and physics work. She’s so grateful and thankful to have been welcomed into the LBMT world and has loved every minute of working with this amazing group of people. Thank you for supporting local community theatre and stay murdery Ottawa!

Laurenne Tynski

Laurenne Tynski is thrilled to be making her LBMT debut in Chicago with this fantastic cast and crew! Trained in Irish dance, Laurenne competed as a world-qualifying dancer in North America and the UK for 13 years. Highlight performances include Gotta Dance! (National Arts Centre), Canada Roars (Odyssey Showcase), the Barra MacNeils Christmas Concert, and Canada’s 150th Celebration (Canadian Museum of History) where she met King Charles III!
Laurenne fell in love with theatre at a young age, participating and placing in the musical theatre classes at the Kiwanis Festival. She was very involved in her high school productions from acting to set design and construction! Her favourite past roles include Janet van de Graaff (The Drowsy Chaperone), Snoopy (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown) and Violet (Play On!). In early 2020, she had the privilege of choreographing a piece for Dancing at Lughnasa (Three Sisters Theatre Company and SevenThirty Productions). Most recently she has performed in and choreographed the engineering musicals at Carleton University. Outside of theatre, Laurenne is an Aerospace Engineering student and a member of Carleton’s varsity fencing team!

Born and raised in Ottawa, this valley girl is thrilled to be a part of the production team for Lost Baggage Musical Theater’s production of Chicago, as Community Manager! When this local performer is not on the stage, she enjoys reading, drawing, painting, playing with her cat, going on long walks, and traveling! Thank you all for coming and supporting local theater! We hope you enjoy the show! Melodi holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, as well as a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Administration, from Carleton University. Rebecca White is a voice teacher and performer based out of Ottawa, Ontario. Rebecca graduated from Carleton University’s Bachelor of Music program in 2022 – her focus on Musical Theatre Voice. Since graduating, Rebecca has explored the world of competition through the Kiwanis Music Festival, placing first in her class and advancing onto the OMFA 2023 Provincials where she earned an honourable mention in the Advanced Musical Theatre category.
Rebecca is now also excitedly delving into the world of community theatre, joining LBMT for the first time for this amazing production of Chicago, which will be her community theatre debut! She is so thrilled to be working with such a fun and devoted cast and crew. Rehearsing for this production has been one of Rebecca’s greatest joys these past few months!
Though new to community theatre, Rebecca is no stranger to being onstage, having performed in a multitude of musicals and plays in high school, including the honour of getting to play Christine Daae in Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School’s 2018 production of Phantom of the Opera. Rebecca has always had a passionate spirit for performing, even since childhood, and is over the moon to be back on the stage once again.
