Community Manager Positions

LBMT is thrilled to announce that we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Community Managers to join the production teams of our fifth season. As a Community Manager, you will play a vital role in fostering a warm and inclusive environment within each show’s rehearsals and processes, ensuring that LBMT’s core values of inclusion, equity, and respect are at the forefront of our productions.

Your responsibilities will encompass organizing exciting cast outings, socials, and events, fostering camaraderie among the cast and crew, and creating memorable experiences for everyone involved. Additionally, you will be the creative eye behind capturing the magic of rehearsals, as you take photographs and videos to be utilized in our promotional materials, sharing the excitement of our upcoming productions.

Furthermore, as a Community Manager, you will act as a liaison between LBMT and the local community, researching and coordinating publicity opportunities with various media outlets, such as radio stations, television channels, online forums, and community groups. By expanding our reach and connecting with diverse audiences, you will contribute to making LBMT’s fifth season an unforgettable experience for all.

How To Apply

Applications are being accepted throughout the season until all positions are filled, and additional details about the individual shows can be on our Season Five webpage. It is not essential that the Community Manager have experience directing or being on a production team and is not responsible or authorized to make any artistic decisions for the show. To apply, please email lostbaggagemt@gmail.com with the following information:

  1. Provide us with a résumé (does not have to be theatrical).
  2. Identify which production(s) interests you.
  3. Explain why you want to be involved that production(s).
  4. Explain why LBMT should choose you.
  5. Provide us with any additional details you feel we should know.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensures that LBMT’s values of inclusion, equity, and respect are being implemented within the show’s rehearsals and processes.
  2. Organizes cast outings, socials, and events.
  3. Takes rehearsal photographs and videos to be used in promotions.
  4. Aids in preparing content for LBMT’s social media platforms (includes Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter).
  5. Researches and coordinates publicity opportunities with local media, including radio stations, television stations, online forums, and community groups.
