Benjamin Haile
Artistic Director
After 4 years of only being onstage in Ottawa, Benjamin has returned to one of his artistic loves….. Telling everyone else what to do. But seriously, he hopes this is the start of an illustrious Ottawa directing resume. He was very active in the Chicago theatre scene before moving to Canada 8 years ago. There he worked with numerous companies in various and sundry roles: actor, director, fight choreographer, stage manager, lighting / sound design, and technical director. Select favorite directing credits: Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and Baby with the Bathwater. Select favorite acting roles: ‘Judas Escariot’ in Jesus Christ Superstar, ‘Tybalt’ in Romeo & Juliet, and the ‘Headless Horseman’ in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Locally, Benjamin has worked with ASNY, Toto Too, Lost Baggage, Elevator and Paper Moon theatre companies. He hopes you enjoy this ridiculous blook-soaked horror. Ready your boomsticks and chainsaws. And always stay…….. GROOVY!

He also recently stage managed Rock of Ages (Papermoon, 2026), and was seen onstage as ‘Christopher’ in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (UOttawa Theatre, 2025). Euan Wheatron

Euan has stopped counting how many shows he has done with Lost Baggage. The best he can tell you is he’s involved in 4 of the 5 going up this year. You might have recently seen him as ‘Dr Scott’ in Rocky Horror (TotoToo) or as ‘Gerald’ in New Life (Lost Baggage). You can also catch him this month as ‘Dr Scott’ in Rocky Horror (TotoToo), yes he’s doing the time warp again, or in his solo show for the Fresh Meat Festival at Arts Court. In December, you can also catch him as ‘Jacob Marley’ in Christmas Carol (Lost Baggage). He is excited to be directing The Drowsy Chaperone for Lost Baggage in April 2027. Dominic Perrin
Ash
From the moment he was birthed on a dewy August morn in 1998, Dominic knew he was destined to play a chainsaw-wielding blood-soaked hero in front of hundreds of passionate theatregoers in his hometown. After recent runs as ‘The Dentist’ in Little Shop of Horrors (CMTS, 2024) and ‘Mischa Bachinski’ in Ride the Cyclone (LBMT, 2025), he is now ready to take up that mantle. Special thanks to Dominic’s dad Rob, who introduced him to Evil Dead and the world of B movies (and of course to the rest of his friends, family, and cast/crewmates who have provided endless support)! Get ready to have your minds blown by this goofy, gory and undeniably groovy musical!

Parker Behm
Cheryl
What began as a childhood obsession with Goosebumps books, horror movies, and bloody special effects makeup has finally paid off. Recent Canterbury drama graduate Parker Behm is thrilled to be bringing ‘Cheryl’ to life in Evil Dead: The Musical, combining their love of horror, comedy, and theatrical chaos. Dreams really do come true!
Parker has developed both a love for and a suspiciously consistent track record of playing bizarre or otherwise tormented characters. Any resemblance to their actual personality is purely coincidental. Parker would like to thank their dad, Jason, for introducing them to the gloriously campy world of ’80s horror, which makes joining the blood-soaked mayhem of Evil Dead the Musical all the more exciting. They couldn’t be happier to be part of a show where the blood is fake, the talent is real, and absolutely nothing about the situation is normal.

Katrina Kearney
Annie | Shelley
Every year Katrina makes a long list of horror movies to watch through the months of September and October. This year she decided to step it up and experience some of the blood and guts for herself in Evil Dead: The Musical! Today Katrina will take the stage as Annie, a smart and esteemed Archaeologist, as well as Shelly who… lets just say is cute! You may have previously seen Katrina as “Trish” and dance ensemble in Bonnie and Clyde (LBMT, 2026) and “Ariel” in Footloose (UOTC, 2025). She feels incredibly lucky to work with this amazing cast and cannot wait for the audiences to see what all of their hard work has gone into.

Alyssa Ann Rama
Jake
In ancient Greek society, all theatre roles, including ones that were portraying ladies, were played by men. Esteemed character actress Alyssa-Ann Rama is proud to be taking revenge for all of the women of old who yearned for the stage once again! This time, Alyssa is playing Jake, just a straightforward, honest, regular guy. No funny business here, why would you even think that? You may previously have seen Alyssa as ‘Dr. Scott’ in The Rocky Horror Show (LBMT, 2025) or ‘Franz the Robot/Spaceship Voice’ in One Small Misstep (LBMT, 2025). Outside of her time in the woods, Alyssa is a researcher for the Public Health Agency of Canada, and is also in grad school. Send help. Or coffee.

Jamie Hellfire
Scott
Jamie Wolfe Hellfire is elated to be emulating the manchild every parent is terrified their daughter might bring home. There have been several times during this process that have forced them to think “How did I end up here? This is so stupid” and they couldn’t be happier to be a part of this horror/camp chaos with some of the most loveable and talented gremlins they’ve had the pleasure of working with. When Jamie isn’t doing thespianage, they are busy dabbling in musical and visual art projects, gaming, cooking, lifting, and running a business. Jamie’s previous theatre credits include “Basilius” in Head Over Heels (Suzart, 2025), “Robby the Stockfish” in Urinetown (Suzart 2026), “Tinman” in Wizard of Oz (MCG, 2010), and “Mark” in RENT (MCG, 2010).

Salem Valentine
Ed
Salem Valentine is thrilled to endulge in what he does best in front of the public: look awkward and speak as little as possible. As a huge fan of the campy 80’s slasher movie, he is delighted to perform alongside such a loving cast. Salem’s inner goth kid is thoroughly happy to embrace all these horror elements and turn them into a fun time for your viewing pleasure. You may have seen Salem portray roles such as: ‘Phoenix’ in Jagged Little Pill (TotoToo Theatre), ‘Drew Boley’ in Rock of Ages (PaperMoon Theatre), and ‘Gabe’ in Next to Normal (Elevator Theatre Company) but this time he sheds his skin of the angsty teenage boy and steps into his sweater vest to have a bloody good time!

Allyshia Ann Sewdat
Swing
Horror and zombies aren’t Allyshia’s thing. But when done with really cool people, a great musical score, and non-stop laughs, it works. Originally from Toronto, Allyshia has called Ottawa home for nearly 20 years and has been drawn to the infectious energy of the local theatre community. After spending all of her disposable income on theatre tickets for years, she’s finally decided to take the plunge into doing what she’s wanted to do all along: be on stage. Today you’ll see her as a tree, a zombie, and an S-Mart customer. If you’ve been a Lost Baggage attendee for long enough, you might have seen her in the Valentine’s Day-themed Cabaret, Everybody Say Love. She is so very grateful to this cast and crew for the incredible work they’ve done, and she is excited for audiences to see this GROOVY and terrifyingly hilarious show.

Faith MacGea
Swing
Faith MacGea is a local theatre goer who is taking steps to become a local theatre artist. You may have seen them onstage in Ride the Cyclone (LBMT, 2025) or backstage in One Small Misstep (LBMT, 2026). Tonight, you will see Faith play a tree, a severed hand, and a demon–now that’s what you call range! They’ve been very lucky to work on this project with a killer cast & crew. “Sit back, relax and JOIN US for 2 hours of bad puns, fake blood and staged violence! ♡”
