Music by Assaf Gleizner | Book and Lyrics by Cindy Sideris
At the heart of the cabaret is the extraordinary ten-minute musical, Run This Town. Transport yourself back to the roaring 1920s, a time of gangsters and jazz, as you delve into the world of a charismatic yet frustrated gangster seeking to expand his horizons. Intrigued by the desire to work alongside a seasoned professional, he soon discovers that things aren’t always what they appear to be. As he navigates the intricate web of trust, loyalty, and deception, he learns that true allies can emerge from the unlikeliest of places.

Dorian Jensen (Vocal Director)
Dorian Jensen is a choral singer, vocal coach, and performing arts librarian originally from Winnipeg, MB. In the decade he’s lived in Ottawa, he’s been fortunate enough to sing with five choirs, four theatre companies, and various ad hoc vocal ensembles. This is his third time doing vocal coaching with LBMT and first time as start-to-finish vocal director, but he’s performed in nine previous Lost Baggage cabarets, most recently Forgotten Treasures in December 2023. He is thrilled to have such a talented and enthusiastic cast, and can’t wait for you to see what they’ve put together.
