
Cameron Aitken

This is Cameron’s second show with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre, and he is thrilled to join such a talented group of socially distanced singers. Thank you to the Board and Production Team of Lost Baggage for doing an amazing job moving all of their current productions online. We greatly appreciate your commitment to keeping local arts organizations afloat. Originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Cameron has lived in Ottawa since 2012 and works in the NGO sector. An avid singer, Cameron is also a member of Tone Cluster and looks forward to the day when choir and live theatre can resume. Thank you everyone involved and our audience for supporting community based theatre groups and their COVID inspired productions.

Kevin Anderson

Kevin Anderson has been in various theatrical productions in the Ottawa area over the last ten years, including “Narnia: The Musical” (2014), “Sir John A. MacDonald: The Musical” (2017) and “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” (2019). His previous quarantine show was “Bad Auditions… On Camera” with Rural Root Theatre. He eagerly anticipates escaping from his home office and returning to his cubicle.

Claudia Carino

Claudia is a graduate of the Theatre Performance Conservatory Program at Humber College, where she received a Distinguished Performance Award in her second year, and is an Certified Stage Combatant through the Academy of Dramatic Combat. She was most recently seen in A Quarantunes Cabaret with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre, and in Bare: A Pop Opera with Toto Too Theatre.
Selected theatre: Marianne in This Is For You, Anna (Hart House Theatre), Cook in Caucasian Chalk Circle (Humber Theatre), Silvia in Two Gentlemen of Verona (Humber Theatre). Mathieu Charlebois
Music Director
Mathieu is super excited to be involved with a show featuring such fantastic music and an enormously talented cast! He has been involved with LBMT since its inception in 2018 and remains on the board of directors. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa. When not managing LBMT, Mathieu can be found working as a teacher, musician, and music school administrator at Riverview School of Music. He also enjoys eating fruit, especially peaches. Mathieu sincerely thanks all those involved and for their commitment, especially given the present circumstances in the world.

Morgan Coughlan

Morgan Coughlan is a Canterbury High School dance program graduate. He has been studying dance for most of his life at studios, such as, Chad Wolfe Studio of Dance and Music and Capital City Dance. He has gone on to become a dance instructor and choreographer for a variety of studios and theatre companies. Morgan is the Vice President on the Board of Directors for Lost Baggage Musical Theatre (LBMT) and has been a part of many production teams and casts through the past few years, such as: Chaz in “Something About New York”, Director for “Surely Schwartz”, and Choreographer for “History of Love on Broadway”.
Previous other theatre credits include: Mike in “A Chorus Line” (Orpheus Musical Theatre Society), Phantom in “The Rocky Horror Show’”(Ovation Productions), Choreographer in “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” (Orpheus Musical Theatre Society), Choreographer in “Chicago” (Carleton Musical Theatre Society) and Assistant Stage Manager in “Sister Act” (Orpheus Musical Theatre).

Tanys Coughlan

Tanys Coughlan is so excited to be directing her second Valentines Cabaret with LBMT. She has been involved in musical theatre for over a decade on stage and off. She has done directing and producing as well as other roles like props mistress. She has been thrilled to be able to help out with hair and makeup, costumes and sets. She is the owner of Twillow Lifestyle Community, a local wellness business. Tanys is looking forward to being involved in this show full of funny songs about love.

Maya’s very excited to be working with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre again in her fifth cabaret with the company. She’s very thankful for this great opportunity to perform during these odd times. Maya’s theatrical journey has stretched over a lifetime, with several productions with her theatre family of The Greely Players, Toto Too, and Lost Baggage Musical Theatre. She’s very fortunate to live a life devoted to art, working as a professional photographer and participating in theatre arts as often as she can. She would like to thank her friends, family, and theatre family for all their love and support.

Austin Fogarty

Austin is honoured to have this opportunity to be a part of “My Funny Valentine” with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre! Prior to this, Austin’s previous performances include: Tom Sawyer, Beauty and the Beast, Once Upon a Mattress and Wizard of Oz (Greely Players). Austin has also taken part in vocal performances with the Christmas in the Village Choir, acted in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Fiddler on the Roof (Orpheus Theatre), plus Ella’s Lounge and Young Frankenstein (RAPA Theatre Group). This is his very first Virtual Cabaret and hopes that you all enjoy it!

Maddie is so excited to be apart of this wonderful cast and crew. This is her first show with LBMT, and she is so excited to work with some familiar and new faces.

Alex Henkelman

Alex is incredibly excited to be performing with Lost Baggage again, after last appearing as Dylan in Something About New York in 2020. When not performing, Alex continues his artistic passions backstage (Board of Directors; Toto Too), as well as through his photography (Alex Henkelman Photography). Katie Irvine

Katie is a recent York University graduate, where she received an Honours Bachelor Degree for majoring in Performance Creation & Research, minoring in English, and completing a two-year academic specialization in New Play Dramaturgy. Now, she’s expanded her post-secondary journey to St. Lawrence College, where she is currently a first-year student in their Music Theatre – Performance program. With over a decade of musical theatre experience under her belt, Katie is so excited to be participating in her first-ever cabaret show and sharing her love of performance with all of you! She hopes you stay home, stay safe, and enjoy!

Dorian Jensen

Dorian is returning for his fifth show with Lost Baggage and first as a member of the creative team. Having previously been part of the cast of A Little Lin Music, History of Love On Broadway, A Quarantunes Cabaret, and Surely Schwartz, he is thrilled to have taken a place on the other side of the table, using his 15+ years of choral experience to help with the show’s ensemble pieces. Outside of Lost Baggage, he has performed with Tuba Czar Productions and the Carleton Musical Theatre Society, as well as a half-dozen choirs in the Ottawa choral community. When not neck-deep in music, he is generally reading or doing what he can to contribute to Indigenous, 2SLGBTQ+, and disability community work within the city.

Chantalyne Leonhardt

Chantalyne is a 2019 graduate of the Centre d’excellence artistique de l’Ontario’s classical vocal music program. She is currently in her second year at Sheridan College obtaining her Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance. She has toured Italy and China with Les ensembles vocaux De La Salle. Dancing since the age of 2, she has been a competitive dancer for years as well as a dance teacher since 2015. She is also a portrait photographer and vocal coach. Chantalyne is excited to take part in her first ever Lost Baggage Musical Theatre production and hopes you have a wonderful show!

KJ Mainwood

KJ has loved the arts since a young age. She has participated in countless plays and musicals and done her fair share of backstage work. KJ has worked over many summers for musical theatre camps and has a strong love for teaching. KJ has been in an Ottawa based dance company, productions by the University of Ottawa, and after school theatre with different companies. She knows almost every theatre game that can be played.

Marlayah McLeod

Marlayah Mcleod, aka Miss Mcleod, is a 15 year old singer, songwriter, producer, actress, and musician from Ottawa, Ontario. You may have seen her on stage in the Madagascar musical playing Marty the zebra, or Belle from Beauty And The Beast, or even Miss Hannigan from the musical Annie. Besides acting, Marlayah loves to sing and has just recently released her new single called “Pill Of Love” along with 4 other albums in the past that are out on all platforms. In this production, Marlayah is singing My Funny Valentine from Babes in Arms, and Shy from Once Upon a Mattress.

Lindsay Moffatt

Lindsay Moffatt is a current eleventh grader at Colonel By Secondary School in the IB Diploma Programme. She’s been dancing since she was 2 and has since fallen in love with acting and singing. Her favourite credits are Roxie in Chicago at Stagecraft Theatre School and Beleaguered Geek in her school’s production of Heathers. She was also the dance captain for a locally written musical called ‘Rock the School’ in which she also played a supporting character, Magnolia, and is currently an assistant choreographer and ensemble member in her school’s virtual cabaret, Tip of the Hat to Disney.

Lili Roussakis

Lili Roussakis is a voice teacher, audition prep coach, performer and storyteller from Ottawa, Ontario. In 2019, Lili completed her Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre Voice, with a minor in Drama Studies from Carleton University. Most recently, Lili has completed the CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institute, based out of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. Lili is very excited and grateful to part of Lost Baggage’s online Valentine’s cabaret, My Funny Valentine, and hopes that you enjoy the show!

Julie Séguin

New to LBMT’s virtual shows, Julie is enthusiastic about learning new songs and meeting “theatre kids” like her, who are all itching to perform. She was last seen as Judy in “9 to 5” (Suzart), Trina in “Falsettos” (Orpheus), Heidi in “[title of show]” (Zucchini’s Confidential Musical), and Wardrobe in “Beauty and the Beast” (ASNY). Big thanks to Lost Baggage for this opportunity, and a virtual hug to family and friends who support her music projects and tolerate her constant musical references!

Niku Shaeri

Niku is very excited to be part of Lost Baggage Musical Theatre’s “My Funny Valentine” production. This is her third show with LBMT, and previously performed in the “Surely Schwartz” and “A Little Lin Music” composer cabarets. She is very excited to be portraying the iconic Tracy Turnblad in “I Can Hear the Bells” from the show Hairspray. Outside of musical theatre, you can find Niku working from home, riding OC Transpo, eating soup, or riding OC Transpo to go buy more soup. She hopes this show puts a smile on your face!

Sarah Stapleton

Sarah Stapleton is a fourth-year Music Education student specializing in Voice at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is passionate about musical theatre, education, writing, and research, and aspires to become a Professor of Voice alongside working as a performer. Sarah has over sixteen years of experience studying music and twelve years of musical theatre experience, passions which she shares with the next generation in her roles as a voice teacher and musical theatre instructor. Sabrina Tang
Accompanist
Sabrina Tang (ATCL) is a collaborative pianist and music teacher in the Ottawa area. She received her Diploma in Piano Performance from the Trinity College of London in 2007, and has been accompanying choirs, ensembles, and soloists since. As an active musician in the community, Sabrina is the accompanist for the Voices in Harmony choir, as well as the musical director at Gloucester Presbyterian Church. Sabrina is a co-founder of the Music in Greenboro concert series, which showcases local musicians and provides accessible, high-quality music for residents in the South Keys and Greenboro area.

Laura Walker
Stage Manager
Laura is proud to be joining the production team of My Funny Valentine: A Cabaret as the Stage Manager. Laura has had the pleasure of Stage Managing A Quarantunes Cabaret, History of Love, and A Little Lin Music with Lost Baggage. Most recently Laura was able to be the Apprentice Stage Manager of Rock of Ages and the ASM of Sister Act with Orpheus. Other highlights include Stage Managing Chicago and Cabaret with the Carleton Musical Theatre Society. Laura looks forward to continuing sharpening her craft in Stage Managing within the theatre community in Ottawa.

Niamh Webber

Niamh is no stranger to the Ottawa community theatre scene and was last seen on stage as Nadia in Bare: A Pop Opera (ToToToo) and backstage as the choreographer for Falsettos (Orpheus). Until recently she worked as a music and dance teacher at Ain’t Seen Nothin Yet (ASNY) Studio in Ottawa. She has now moved to Toronto to take her teaching career to the next level as a teaching candidate in the York University Bachelor of Education Program. Lost Baggage Musical Theatre (LBMT) has presented Niamh with such a great opportunity to stay involved in the Ottawa musical theatre scene while living in Toronto. Although teaching and doing theatre online is a new twist, it is definitely something she should get used to and is a great way to bring people from different geographic areas together, so she is very grateful for this opportunity.
Some of her favourite theatre experiences include: Assistant Director of Something About New York (LBMT), Shirley in Priscilla Queen of the Dessert (Orpheus), Choreographer of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Orpheus), dance chorus in Mary Poppins (ASNY) and The Sour Kangaroo in Seussical the Musical (ASNY).

Euan Wheaton

Trying to do live theatre during the pandemic is no fun, so Euan hasn’t tried very hard. He’s been focusing on school and work, but he’s glad to be involved in the odd project here and there with LBMT. Previous to My Funny Valentine, he’s been in other Lost Baggage productions including History of Love: On Broadway and A Little Lin Music. He’s also recently done work with TotoToo queer theatre and CMTE. While the pandemic has seen a slump, he’s got plenty of writing projects on the way, so stay tuned.

Emma Woodside

Emma is so excited to be joining this cast and returning to the virtual stage in “My Funny Valentine”. She has previously performed in shows such as Cry-Baby The Musical, Legally Blonde, and Sister Act, and is currently continuing her education studying music theatre at Sheridan College. She is so grateful for the opportunity to be performing despite current circumstances, and can not wait for folx to still be able to enjoy some theatre from the comfort of their own living rooms, all while staying safe and healthy!
