Faith is incredibly grateful to have worked with this amazing cast and crew, and to help create the magic of theatre from behind the scenes AND BEYOND!

Miles Chow

After a wonderful first show with LBMT, Miles was ready to blast off on this exciting new adventure! They began doing stage makeup all the way back in 2013, applying foundation to the faces of their fellow community theatre performers and eventually taking on more steps in the makeup process as time passed and their skills improved. Katie wants to thank her mentors, Dalene Gallo and Shanna Jacklin, for taking a chance on her all those years ago and for teaching her everything that they know about makeup. Enjoy the show!

Glency Victoria Lopez

Tori considers herself a newbie to the theater scene, having been in only one other production here in Ottawa, but she has absolutely loved working with the OSMS team and being part of such a fun project! “The cast and production team have made this such an incredible experience for me! It’s such an honor to work alongside such talented people who are so fun and kind to boot!”

Kaidan Cormier-Laurin

Pawn

This is Kaidan’s third LBMT appearance. Appearing previously in LMBT’s Take Off! Program in 2024, and their Rocky Horror Show in 2025, Kaidan feels privileged to work with such an amazing cast and crew (again!) Kaidan has been dabbling in different types of art their whole life. From video game design to streaming Dungeons & Dragons online to writing and running trivia games and cross-stitch, Kay has had no lack of creative outlets, though he has really appreciated getting to perform musical theatre and marrying some of those interests into the ultimate art form. They thank you for coming and hope you enjoy the show.

Maisaloon Hammoud

Hans

Maisaloon is a singer, writer and happy to be back at the same place she had her theatre beginnings! To write a musical is no small feat, and Maisaloon is grateful to be a part of the early showings of this whimsical one! Kudos to the production team and cast who faced one too many illnesses and still managed to beautifully bring this show to life. She sends a big thank you to her family and friends who keep coming to her shows and keep up with her rehearsal schedule – and to her partner in crime who keeps trying to rewire this silly robot’s evil programming. Credits include: ‘12 Angry Jurors’ (Ottawa Little Theatre]), ‘Wizard of Oz’ (Orpheus Musical Theatre) and 10-Minute Play Festival, (Kanata Theatre).

Russell Roffey

Gene

Russell Roffey (he/him) is a graduate of UOttawa’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting program, middle child from Renfrew (shoutout to anyone that knows where this is), writer, actor, amateur baker and alien bug man currently based out of Ottawa. After several performances with UOttawa’s theatre (Five Days in Verona, The Child, Thick, Small Talk), he makes his professional debut as Gene in Lost Baggage’s One Small Misstep, having previously auditioned for the Undercurrents run. Currently uninvolved with any other productions, but is always looking for more places to bring his uplifting sense of humour and good vibes—though very few will be as fun and inviting as this show. Hopes to avoid being typecast as an alien bug for the rest of his career. Special thanks go to teachers Kristina Watt, Daniel Mroz, etc, and his friends and family for their support and guidance.

Sutida (May) Turcot

Bobby

Active in Ottawa community musical theatre since 2022, May was last seen onstage, loud and blond, as ‘Mrs. Wormwood’ in Suzart Production’s Matilda (2024). While she’s never travelled off-planet, and both her parents have two arms each, May, like all of us, is not immune to feeling alien sometimes. The best cure to feeling foreign may be a mix of curiosity, kindness and easy laughter – all attributes we find in our intrepid heroine, Sam. Voted most likely to play with toddlers at any dinner party, May has wholeheartedly enjoyed slipping into Bobby’s skin, and she hopes her joy is contagious.

Melodi Uygur

Kate

“Here we go again!” If you’ve been around the Ottawa theatre scene long enough, chances are you’ve either worked with, bumped into, or heard of Melodi (she/her/elle). Melodi has been involved in community theatre in this city since 2008. A Canada Capital Cappie’s award winner, she has performed at the NAC, been asked to audition for the Great Canadian Theatre Company, has been interviewed by CBC Radio, and has been involved in the professional theatre scene since 2023. Melodi has professional training in both stage and voice acting. She has been involved as a performer with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre LBMT since 2021, and is grateful to be a part of this incredible cast and crew of One Small Misstep! “Thank you all for coming out and supporting local theatre! Get ready for a fun adventure! Let’s go to space!”

Maria is very excited to be back for her second Lost Baggage Musical Theatre production and is honoured to be part of theatre history by being in the first ever ensemble for One Small Misstep! “The cast and crew are a fantastic and talented group of people that have made this rehearsal process an absolute blast. It’s always an amazing environment.” Past credits include: ‘Gangster #1’ The Drowsy Chaperone, ‘Bird woman/Bear’ Mary Poppins, ‘Cast member’ Baggage Claim Cabaret: Valentines Edition. Zyta La Russa

Ensemble

Zyta is very excited to be a part of her first LBMT show! While she might be new to the Ottawa theatre scene, she couldn’t have asked for a better first experience in the community! “Its been so much fun working with LBMT this year, It’s such an amazing environment everyone is so talented.” Along with the show, this is her first year at Canterbury High School as a member of the music program, so it’s been a packed year of amazing new opportunities. She hopes that you enjoy the show as much as she enjoyed helping to bring it to life. She would like to thank her family, friends, and fellow cast and crew for a super fun experience!

Alyssa Murray

Ensemble

Alyssa is excited to be performing in her first production with Lost Baggage Musical Theatre and to be going to space! You may have seen her as an ‘Oompa-Loompa/Ensemble’ in Orpheus Musical Theatre’s production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2024). By day Alyssa is a Medical Student working towards an MD/PhD degree and is grateful to community theatre for being a creative outlet.
