General Information
LBMT is looking for a choreographer, production manager, community manager, props/costume desinger, and accompanist to join the production team of our upcoming production, Lost and Found. This hour long cabaret features a collection of show tunes with characters who are in search of something or someone, or have experienced the poignant loss of something or someone dear to their hearts. The show ends with the ten-minute musical, Run This Town, which also aligns with the theme. We will be casting 8 performers in the show. Each performer will have a solo performance, participate in at least 2 group numbers, and participate in the musical, Run This Town. The show is artistically directed by Euan Wheaton and vocally directed by Dorian Jensen.
Rehearsals will take place at Riverview School of Music (480 Avalon Place) in the Alta-Vista area of Ottawa on Saturdays from 10:00am-2:00pm starting on January 27. The show will be presented to in-person audiences for a total of 3 performances on March 23 and 24 in different venues. The Saturday afternoon performance will be at Gloucester Presbyterian Church, the Saturday evening performance will be at LIVE! On Elgin, and the Sunday performance will be at the Shenkman Arts Centre in the Emmy and Victor Abboud Music Studio.
Have we peaked your interest? We hope to hear from you! A list of each production member’s responsibilities are below along with application information. It’s a great opportunity to get your feet wet on the production side of things or step back into theatre with a lighter load than a full-length cabaret or musical.
Please Note: These are volunteer positions.
