Evil Dead: The Musical
Book and Lyrics by George Reinblatt | Music by Frank Cipolla, Christopher Bond, Melissa Morris, George Reinblatt | Music Supervision by Frank Cipolla | Additional Lyrics by Christopher Bond
October 29-31, 2026 | Shenkman Arts Centre: Richcraft Theatre (245 Centrum Boulevard)
Evening Shows at 7:30pm | Doors at 7:00
Saturday Matinée at 2:30pm | Doors at 1:00
Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It’s all up to Ash (a housewares employee, turned demon-killing hero), and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons tell bad jokes… and all to music. The songs in the show are completely off the wall as well. Titles like “All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Kandarian Demons” and “What the F**k was That?” have had audiences rolling in their seats, and screaming for more and more blood.
You don’t need to be a fan of Evil Dead to love this show. You don’t need to be a fan of horror to love this show. You don’t even need to be a fan of musicals to love this show. As long as you like having fun… this show is for you. Is it scary? No! Is it gory? No. This is a pure comedy start to finish. It has fun with the horror genre, and in doing so appeals to a wider audience than you could ever imagine. Plus it’s the only show with a “Splatter Zone” – a section of the audience that gets covered in fake blood. And with this combination of blood, jokes, cheesy effects, and really awesome musical numbers, Evil Dead The Musical is unlike any live show you’ve ever seen.

A Christmas Carol
A Play with Carols
By Charles Dickens | Adapted for the Stage by Rebecca Russell
December 2026 | St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts (310 St. Patrick Street)
Evening Shows at 8:00pm | Doors at 7:30
Matinées at 2:00pm | Doors at 1:30
This holiday season, rediscover the magic of A Christmas Carol in a unique theatrical adaptation by local writer and artist Rebecca Russell.
Originally written by Charles Dickens, the beloved story follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, a man whose bitterness and greed have left little room in his heart for kindness or celebration. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, who warns him that he must change his ways. Over the course of the night, three spirits (the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come) guide Scrooge on a journey through memories, present-day joys and struggles, and a chilling glimpse of the future that awaits if he does not change. Through these encounters, Scrooge discovers the true meaning of generosity, compassion, and the spirit of Christmas.
In this stage adaptation, traditional Christmas carols are performed a cappella, allowing the voices of the performers to fill the theatre with the warmth and beauty of the season. Adding to the magic, the three spirits appear through beautifully crafted shadow puppetry, creating a striking and atmospheric theatrical experience that captures both the mystery and wonder of the story.
Heartwarming, inventive, and rich with the sounds of beloved carols, this production invites audiences of all ages to celebrate the season and reflect on the power of kindness, community, and redemption.

The Drowsy Chaperone
Music and Lyrics by Lisa Lambert, Greg Morrison | Book by Bob Martin, Don McKellar
April 24 – May 2, 2027 | Arts Court Theatre (2 Daly Avenue)
Evening Shows at 8:00pm | Doors at 7:30
Matinée Shows at 2:00pm | Doors at 1:30
Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving send-up of the Golden Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another.
With the houselights down, a man in a chair appears on stage and puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of a fictitious 1928 musical. The recording comes to life and The Drowsy Chaperone begins as the man in the chair looks on. Mix in two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and an intoxicated chaperone, and you have the ingredients for an evening of madcap delight.
Hailed by New York Magazine as “The Perfect Broadway Musical,” The Drowsy Chaperone is a masterful meta-musical, poking fun at all the tropes that characterize the musical theatre genre. Because of its many featured roles and accessible script, The Drowsy Chaperone will fit perfectly into any company’s season or school’s calendar.

Enjoy a special throwback to Bittersweet Lullaby, a mini-musical first presented as part of Suzart Productions’ 2022 Long Story Short Festival. This story follows two struggling songwriters who live in the same apartment decades apart. Over the course of one magical night, their voices connect across time, sparking an unexpected collaboration that changes both of their lives forever. With a book by Will Lacker and music and lyrics by Dylan Glatthorn, the piece explores creativity, connection, and the mysterious ways art can bridge time and space.
